Prometheus why does fifield come back

Writer in the horror community since Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys. Horrors Elsewhere is a recurring column that spotlights a variety of movies from all around the globe, particularly those not from the United States. Fears may not be universal, but one thing is for sure — a scream is understood, always and everywhere. A black cloud hangs over the family at the center of the movie, Voices.

The children live in blissful ignorance while the adults anxiously await the day their legacy finally comes to light. What they had hoped would skip a generation is now underway to destroy an entire bloodline. Not only is Ga-in a talented fencer and a popular student, she is dating a handsome, young doctor Lee Ki-woo. What appears to be a bizarre and isolated tragedy is really the start of something bigger. The theory of an embittered sister taking swift revenge is good enough for the police.

Like a virus, though, the animosity is contagious. Ga-in witnessed firsthand Jung-sun slashing Jee-sun to shreds in her hospital bed.

It does not take long before Ga-in herself is the target of wanton aggression at the hands of those she trusted. Ga-in falls prey to various and unprovoked attacks by those around her. At first her aggressors are acquaintances at school. A studious overachiever named Eun-kyung Oh Yeon-seo feels slighted when she is passed over for an opportunity, so she comes after Ga-in with a pair of scissors. A family curse is often metaphorical in storytelling; characters feel fated or burdened by past acts committed by their ancestors.

A variety of horror movies adopt this mode of curses, whereas Voices approaches the concept literally. Ga-in learns the source of her hereditary affliction when she seeks refuge with a long-lost relative Kim Seong-jun along with the above said classmate, Seok-min Park Ki-woong. Regardless of his hostile personality, he also seemed to have a cowardly side; immediately becoming distressed and unreasonable at the first sight of an Engineer corpse and he even aggressively confronted an impassive Elizabeth Shaw when questioning her plans of investigating "gigantic dead bodies" while inside the Engineer Temple.

Originally, Fifield's appearance when he becomes mutated by the black liquid was very different. The creature that he turns into featured a translucent cowl that covered its elongated head, immediately notable for its resemblance to the translucent dome that covers the skull of Xenomorph Drones.

However, this design was altered late in production, likely as a result of director Ridley Scott 's desire to move the picture away from the original Alien film. Special effects for the scene had virtually been completed by the time the sequence was cut, and a very nearly finished version is included among the deleted scenes on the Prometheus home video releases.

In Jon Spaihts ' original script for Prometheus , titled Alien: Engineers , Fifield's transformation was even more extreme — he actually becomes a form of Xenomorph, with an elongated skull, dorsal tubes sprouting from his suit and large clawed talons growing from his hands. Predator: The Duel Aliens vs. Predator Aliens: Colonial Marines Aliens vs. The Hive. I can overlook all the other things in the film. But not people coming back to life. Then in the next scene he is totally calm, while tending to the old man. I just can't get over it. If we then take and add the Janek Fills Vickers and full King has its reign then after that alternative Fifield with the Weyland in shot, if these was added to the movie then the in continuity you mentioned would not occur.

This just shows how the movie was edited and cut and how the edited Theatrical Release thus ended up with problems such as what you described. Both these parts never made it into the deleted scenes. In the process of trying to crush mutant Fifield they ran Weyland over by accident.

But this was changed. With Vickers on the moon and Weyland dead, what would happen to Weyland Cort? If what you mentioned occurs I am sure Vickers would immedietly booked for Earth Be choicelessly aware as you move through life. Perhaps they were robots a different model than David and were several of each on board Prometheus, I suspect it was just a oversite,,that even RS missed. Additionally, there's a pre-production concept drawing that shows the Deacon climbing up a hill towards a Juggernaut.

I for one would KILL to both see the original minute cut of "Prometheus" and the script used during the filming of the movie. Are we going to have to wait 20 years before the definitive edit of "Prometheus" is released to the public?

And how exactly did the Engineer get his face burned during the "Final Battle" scene? I just printed out a copy of Lindelof's supposed "Proentheus" script and will have to be satisfied with reading that for now being that I dont' have access to the shooting script or the minute original cut of the film.

How would we ever see the deleted, deleted scenes? Accounting for them thus: 1. Janek 2. Ravel 3. Chance 4. Shaw 5. Holloway 6. Vickers 7. David does he count? Ford 9. Fifield Millburn I don't count Weyland because he is "secret"! Thats leaves 7 security, ship hands. The 2 silver suited "deck hands" are dispatched by Fifield. I counted then three security guys killed one flametheower, one guy thrown at the vehicle and the guy with the spike in this lower back.

Also, we see two people in the front of the vehicle, the driving positions. That leaves the three guys left. That being said, there do appear to be some people that look very alike in the folllowing scenes that were previously killed or badly injured!!!!! The missing ones don't really worry me, because where do you draw the limit?
